We have seen the promises of anti wrinkle creams everywhere. In newspapers, in specialized magazines, online: beautiful girls who with a touch of cream get 20 years younger.
Needless to say, real life is not like that.
Obviously not.
The reality is very different from the promises seen on TV. But today we try to analyze specifically the best ingredients and best results of the TOP anti-wrinkle creams in the WORLD.
In total, we will see 15 technical creams of absolute quality. Excellent both for results and for the real quality of the active ingredients.
Let us, first of all, remember that cosmetics cannot, by definition, substitute what surgery attempts to do. But this is not necessarily bad.
A recent study highlighted in how the economic crisis has led consumers to choose increasingly low-level creams.
“The impact of economic crisis on health-care consumption”, Bong-Min Yang, Nicholas Prescott, School of Public Health, Seoul National University, University of Washington, DC, USA
The result, when using inexpensive creams, is that in the best case scenario we use products without a significant amount of active ingredients.
In the worst case, it could result in skin irritation, dermatitis, or various types of damage due to the poor quality of ingredients contained in the formulations.
The use of cosmetics can certainly help to drastically reduce the phenomenon of oxidation of the epithelial tissue, especially of the face, which is the most exposed to ultraviolet rays, the first factor in the formation of wrinkles.
IT IS ESSENTIAL TO KNOW WHAT we PUT ON our FACE AND to CHOOSE DELICATE AND HIGH QUALITY infredients, WITHOUT AGGRESSIVE COMPONENTS FOR THE SKIN

Best Anti Wrinkle Cream – As seen on TV
15. Vichy – LiftActiv Supreme Night Cream
Vichy LiftActiv even if it is a cream that can be defined as “commercial”, is a cream that deserves a place in the ranking.
First, let’s talk about filling capacity. It includes a series of ingredients, including some patented by Vichy that actually manages to fill wrinkles on the face, without suffocating the skin.
It must be said that the so-called lifting effect, in the immediate term, is given by the deep hydration of the skin. The anti-wrinkle effect is given precisely by the “secret” ingredient of this formulation, which then by studying the INCI is not so secret: Rhamose. We will see it in detail shortly.
The texture is thick and creamy, but it absorbs really quickly, without leaving greasy or shiny residues under any circumstances. It is therefore particularly suitable as an excellent dry skin wrinkle cream. Hydration is excellent, and the final effect is actually more radiant skin both in tone and brightness.
As mentioned above, the INCI revolves around the good concentration of Rhamnose, a substance that I did not know before meeting this cream.
Studying the ingredient, I discovered that there is actually something about in the scientific literature. Rhamnose is an ingredient that helps cellular communication. It means that it can tell cells how to behave. In this case, the Rhamnose can tell the fibroblast-producing cells to produce more … fibroblasts. Since fibroblasts are the creators of collagen in our skin, and collagen is what keeps the skin elastic, that’s it.
In addition to Rhamnose, it must be said that the cream is rich in really interesting nourishing and antioxidant ingredients.
Just to name a few, we find the excellent Glycerin, Prunus Kernel Oil, Capric Triglycerides, Shea Butter and Beeswax.
Beeswax (Cera Alba) helps create a think layer on your skin allowing your skin to retain its natural moisture. It also helps protect your skin against external environment.
Glycerin guarantees a strong moisturizing power. Apricot Kernel Oil, Capric Triglycerides and Shea Butter are great moisturizing emollients that absorb quickly and easily into the skin. Rich in vitamins they can nourishing and healing mature, dry, or sensitive skin.
The INCi is generally discreet, although certainly not too “green”. In fact, we find petrolatum, silicones, and PEG.
In any case, the results of this cream are more than excellent.
Soft and silky on the skin, the effect on is certainly one of the best ever, with positive feedback not only mine but shared both in Europe and in the USA.
INGREDIENTS
aqua / Water, Glycerin, Rhamnose, Prunus Armeniaca Kernel Oil / Apricot Kernel Oil, Caprylic/capric Triglyceride, Pentaerythrityl Tetraethylhexanoate, Cetyl Alcohol, Zea Mays Starch / Corn Starch, Butyrospermum Parkii Butter/shea Butter, Petrolatum, Glyceryl Stearate, Pentylene Glycol, Dimethicone, Peg-40 Stearate, Cera Alba / Beeswax, Hydroxyethylpiperazine Ethane Sulfonic Acid, Stearyl Alcohol, Sorbitan Tristearate, Dimethiconol, Triethanolamine, Myristyl Alcohol, Phenoxyethanol, Adenosine, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Ascorbyl Glucoside, Poloxamer 338, Caprylyl Glycol, Xanthan Gum, Pentaerythrityl Tetra-di-t-butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate, Parfum/fragrance.
Perfect for
Among the countless “commercial” wrinkle face creams broadcasted on TV, this one by Vichy is certainly among the best. For once, the “miraculous” ingredient is supported by verifiable scientific literature, even if the INCI is certainly not perfect.
Really pleasant the silky effect on the skin, also ideal under makeup. Excellent hydration, the good filling effect on wrinkles in the short term, difficult to evaluate the results in the long term. All in all, a good choice as anti aging cream, especially for dry skins.

14. InstaNatural – Retinol Moisturizer
The Instanatural antiage moisturizer is a retinol wrinkle cream designed and produced in the USA laboratories located in Florida. It is a product that I have learned to appreciate for years now, as it well known also in Europe.
This cream is an excellent organic anti-aging wrinkle cream, with an intensive action both in terms of hydration of the epidermis and anti-wrinkle for younger skins.
The INCI of this cream is really complete and very rich, while remaining within the limits of the use of natural active ingredients.
The main ingredient is retinol. The fat-soluble Retinol derives from vitamin A, or a specific acid of that vitamin.
Its main functions are in fact to stimulate epidermal elasticity and collagen production. Constant applications of retinol also promote the natural radiance of the skin, regenerating the melanin to counteract, for example, the formation of dark spots caused by excessive sun exposure.
We find also the “ultrapure” Hyaluronic acid, an ingredient able to stimulate the production of collagen and to deeply moisturize fine lines so that the skin appears healthy, hydrated and “plumped”.
This cream could be a great option for younger skin. In particular for those with acne prone skin, maybe oily skin especially due to the addition of Centella Asiatica Extract. In fact, for acne sufferers, it speeds healing, helping to prevent scarring and prevent future blemishes.
At the same time, we find significant quantities of Aloe Barbadensis, Shea Butter, Glycerin, and Vitamins from Essential Oils (A, D, E, F).
In the end, it’s a full organic multivitamin face cream with a deeply moisturizing and antioxidant effect, but very delicate on the skin. Perfect for all those suffering from allergies and or irritations on the skin.
The consistency of this moisturizer is somewhere in-between that of a serum and a lotion but it absorbs very easily and doesn’t leave the skin greasy.
INCI
Aqua, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil, Glyceryl Stearate SE*, Glycerin*, Dicaprylyl Ether*, Cetyl Alcohol*, Stearic Acid*, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate**, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Sodium Hyaluronate*, Retinol**, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride*, Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil, Hesperidin, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract, Hibiscus Rosa-Sinensis Flower Extract, Panthenol**, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Geranium Maculatum Extract, Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract, Tocopherol*, Xanthan Gum*, Pentylene Glycol*, Caprylyl Glycol**, Ethylhexylglycerin**, Citric Acid*. *Naturally Derived, ** Safe Synthetic
Perfect for:
A natural, rich and complete antiaging cream that uses the most effective natural ingredients currently in circulation to combat the signs of age. Also an excellent value for money. I appreciate it as an antiaging cream for younger skin, under 40 years. Even better in the case of acne-prone skin. After a few weeks of using this moisturizer, the skin will look is softer, with a more even tone. Maybe you will not notice a huge reduction in lines, but in the end, this remains a great moisturizer, light, gentle on sensitive skin and natural-based.

Anti Wrinkle Cream – Best moisturizer for younger skins
13. Poppy Austin – Retinol Cream
Poppy Austin is a US company, which designs and markets creams with mainly natural extraction ingredients. Poppy Austin is a company that is having incredible success not only in the United States, but also in Europe.
With its Retinol cream, Poppy Austin opened the way a few years ago to good quality creams, with excellent INCI, even for those who do not want to spend a fortune.
In this 3.4 oz cream, there is a truly complete mix of ingredients characterized by a strong natural extraction.
From retinol (2.5% is really a lot) to Shea Butter, to the many vitamins deriving from the many plant extracts (Jojoba Oil, Shea Butter, Sunflower Oil Green Tea).
The cream constantly manages to deeply moisturize the epidermis, as well as creating a discreet lifting effect over time.
The anti-wrinkle effect, however, remains less marked than other creams that are perhaps a bit more specific as volumizing agents than the micro-wrinkles. Moisturizing without being greased at all, it can also be used very well under make-up.
The INCI is really created for those looking for a cream made up of natural ingredients, while maintaining an effective antioxidant and anti-aging function.
It is one of the very few that I have seen whose major organic component (in this case Aloe) even exceeds water as the main solvent.
We find Sunflower Extract, Hyaluronic Acid, Jojoba Oil, Shea Butter, Sunflower Oil, green tea extract and above all Retinol.
Most of these principles are easily oxidized on contact with the air, which is why an airless bottle is used for the cream.
Some preservatives are inevitable. We find Polysorbate 20, an excipient that serves to stabilize the emulsion and pentylene glycol, a preservative of synthetic origin. At the concentrations in which they are used, I consider them completely harmless.
INGREDIENTS
Organic Aloe, Aqua (Water), Organic Sunflower Oil, Isopropyl Palmitate, Glyceryl Stearate, Cetyl Alcohol, Botanical Hyaluronic Acid, Stearic Acid, Glycerin, Organic Jojoba Oil, Shea Butter, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Panthenol (Vitamin B5), Retinol (2.5%), Organic Green Tea, Propolis, Organic Gotu Kola, Horsetail Extract, Wild Geranium Extract, Organic Dandelion, Xanthan Gum, Polysorbate 20, Pentylene Glycol, Alcohol, Lecithin, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin.
Perfect for:
An anti-wrinkle cream that is having global success. From the United States, where it is born and it’s produced, to all of Europe where it is a true bestseller.
Excellent the formulation of the INCI which contains mainly natural ingredients. Not greasy, not irritating, ideal on sensitive skins.
A perfect cream for those looking for a quality product, at a reasonable price. The anti-wrinkle effect is not amazing, but remains a delicate and perfect cream for skins between 20 and 50 years old.

Anti Wrinkle Cream – Best Men facial night cream
12. Brickell – Men’s Antiaging cream
The Brickell anti wrinkle face cream is probably the best man face cream in terms of value for money.
It is not a revolutionary anti-wrinkle treatment, but it is a type of cream suitable for revitalizing the skin giving it intense hydration for several hours.
Excellent the formula of ingredients: natural and organic ingredients, including vitamin A, hyaluronic acid, vitamin B5 and E, as well as different plant extracts such as Aloe, Shea butter, Jojoba Oil and green tea exctract. 81% organic.
At the same time, the high presence of antioxidants is an excellent source of prevention against wrinkles, and this is why it is a very suitable cream for skin under 40-45 years.
The real strength of this cream, however, is the ability to protect the skin from external factors by moisturizing it and giving it much brighter tones.
It is a cream that creates a barrier between the epidermis and the external environment, but it is not greasy in any way and manages to adapt very well both in summer (in the heat) and on oily skins. In winter and on dry skins it will still do well, although it will not be as nutritious as others we have seen.
The results after one month are more than convincing.
Both on mature skin and young skins the tone is improved, becoming brighter and “alive”. Less gray, so to speak. It also partially tightens facial skin, deeply hydrating to reduce fine lines.
The elasticity is improved, as well as the small wrinkles decrease significantly. The most intense wrinkles, however, (over 50 years), would require a more specific anti-wrinkle treatment, like others that we will see later in this article.
INCI
Aloe Leaf Juice*, Shea Butter*, Jojoba Oil*, Rooibos Extract*, DMAE, Emulsifying Wax, Green Tea*, MSM, Hyaluronic Acid, White Tea Leaf Extract*, Evening Primrose Oil, Vitamin E, White Willow Bark Extract*, Rosehip Fruit Oil, Lichen Extract, Eucalyptus Leaf Oil, Peppermint Leaf Oil, Lemongrass Oil. *Certified Organic.
Perfect for:
A wrinkle cream for men that has managed to convince us on all fronts. Hydration is excellent. The matting effect is natural and perfect for combination or oily skin. Ingredients are gentle and very rich in antioxidants. And above all the anti-wrinkle effect is visible in just a few weeks. It will minimize the appearance of wrinkles and smooth out the overall tone and appearance of the skin. Because of a lot of Shea Butter it can be a little pasty, but anyway it can be spread pretty easily.

Anti Aging Cream – Totally Organic
11. LuxeOrganics – Vitamin C Infusion
LuxeOrganix is a US woman-owned company specialized in natural cosmetic products.
It’s true that some advertising calls their products as “natural”, “biological” or “organic” when they are not. This wrinkle cream is actually totally made with organic and naturally derived ingredients.
As totally organic anti-aging cream it is completely colorless, with no fragrances and even the preservatives of the cream itself are made up of antioxidants of vegetable origin.
Ok, the cream has a formulation with excellent ingredients … but is it an effective antiaging wrinkle cream?
In a few words, very good as anti-wrinkle cream, excellent as a moisturizer. It must be said that the high concentration of Vitamin C, Aloe barbadensis, Shea Butter, and Jojoba Oil transforms it into an ” all-purpose” cream. In fact, it acquires all the properties related to the combination of these substances, with particular benefits on wrinkles, blemishes, scars, and softness of the skin.
INCI is truly organic. One of the very few that can be defined as such in the cosmetic panorama. The only one in this ranking.
Note also the use of the airless pump, which prevents the contact of the air with the natural ingredients inside, avoiding oxidation. It is certainly an excellent cream, also in relation to the price at which it is offered. It is a universal, anti-wrinkle, nourishing and soothing “multitasking” cream, although perhaps it does not have a targeted anti-wrinkle capacity like any other that we will see later.
However, it’s especially suitable for most sensitive skins and as a gentle cream for younger skins. In my opinion, it’s absolutely one of the best anti-wrinkle creams from 20 to 40 years.
In addition to being completely plant-based and neutral to maintain complete hypoallergenicity. No harmful chemicals, artificial fragrance or dyes.
The combination of numerous oils and natural butters make it an incredible antioxidant cream. The presence of Vitamin C in the saline form (sodium ascorbyl phosphate) guarantees resistance to oxidation of this vitamin. In this way, it will perform its antioxidant function on the skin by protecting against free radicals and partially counteracting the damage caused by UV rays.
From a purely scientific point of view of the ingredients, this cream is pretty much flawless.
INGREDIENTS
aqua (deionized water), aloe barbadensis leaf (organic aloe vera) extract, isopropyl palmitate (sustainable palm oil), helianthus annuus seed oil (organic sunflower), cetyl alcohol (non-drying fatty alcohol), glyceryl stearate (derived from vegetable oils), dimethyl sulfone (mineral, msm), sodium ascorbyl phosphate (vitamin c), glycerin (derived from vegetable oils), stearic acid (derived from vegetable oils), butyrospermum parkii (shea butter), simmondsia chinensis seed (organic jojoba) oil, panthenol (vitamin b5), tocopheryl acetate (vitamin e), 2-phenoxyethanol (non-paraben preservative), xanthan gum (derived from vegetables), camellia sinensis leaf extract (green tea), ethylhexylglycerin (natural preservative), citrus sinensis dulcis peel (sweet orange) essential oil, citrus paradisi peel (white grapefruit) essential oil, centella asiatica extract (organic gotu kola herb), equisetum arvense extract (horsetail plant), geranium maculatum extract (wild geranium), taraxacum officinale extract (dandelion)
Perfect for
An organic antiaging cream suitable both for all those who love natural products and for those looking for a high-quality protective face cream to use every day. I really appreciated the natural INCI with all organic ingredients. It includes high amounts of Aloe extract, Sunflower Oil and Glycerin as emollients and moisturizers, Jojoba oil (skin repair and anti-inflammatory) and Vitamin C, panthenol (B5) and tocopheryl (E) as powerful antioxidants.
Ideal from 20 to 40 years, to moisturize and delay the appearance of wrinkles. The lifting effect on deeper wrinkles, however, will be less evident than other more specific creams.

Anti Wrinkle Cream – Exfoliating Moisturizer
11. NeoStrata – Resurface High Potency
Neostrata is a New Jersey-based company known for its products based on polyhydroxy acids. Today it markets products all over the world.
Neostrata High Potency is a cream based on glycolic acid and lactobionic acid , that offer an intensive exfoliation power able to balance / hydrate the deeper layers of the skin.
Formulated with 18% glycolic acid, this light gel quickly penetrates the surface of the skin to stimulate cell renewal, actively correcting the appearance of premature aging, enlarged pores, but most of all irregular consistency and discoloration. Used regularly, this cream promotes the production of collagen to firm and shapes the skin while ensuring that breakages and congestion become less frequent. As it is formulated it is also an excellent fast-acting treatment for ingrown hair on the face and body.
Polyhydroxy acids are ingredients such as gluconolactone and lactobionic acid. They’re supposed to be as effective as AHAs, but less sensitizing. Gluconolactone and lactobionic acid are chemically and functionally similar to AHAs (such as glycolic acid).
Suitable for oily and problematic skin types, it is an ideal solution to exfoliate the skin and stimulate the production of new, smoother, softer and imperfection-free skin.
In my opinion, it’s one of the best choices as wrinkle moisturizer for fine lines, small scars, excoriations, blackheads, dark spots or cutaneous dyschromia on the skin.
There is little to say about INCI, as it is quite short. The cream does have some parabens (Propylparaben, Methylparaben). Parabens can mimic the activity of the hormone estrogen in the body’s cells. However, the low concentration in this formula makes them acceptable for the final quality of the INCI.
Please note that this is a “tough” cream, very useful for renewing the skin, but not suitable for particularly sensitive skin.
INCI
Aqua (Water), Glycolic Acid, Arginine, Propylene Glycol, Stearic Acid, Ammonium Hydroxide, Isostearic Acid, PEG-100 Stearate, Lactobionic Acid, Isododecane, Isohexadecane, Glyceryl Stearate, Cetyl Alcohol, Sorbitan Stearate, Methylglucamine, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Dimethicone, Xanthan Gum, Disodium EDTA, Bisabolol, BHT, Propylparaben, Methylparaben
Perfect for:
A powerful moisturizer with Glycolic Acid to exfoliate and Arginine to deeply hydrate and (partially) restore aging skin.
Unique in its ability to exfoliate the skin, fading black spots or skin imperfections.
However, I would not recommend to use it every day, because of the amount of glycolic acid. The exfoliation power could be really strong! Ideal in the case of general skin imperfections or cutaneous dyschromia.

Anti aging wrinkle cream for eyes and puffiness
9. Pure Biology – Total eye
Pure Biology total Eye is a vitamin C wrinkle cream specialized for the treatment of wrinkles in the eye area. It’s totally made in the USA.
What I liked about this cream, is that it not only combats aging of the skin, but also strongly helps to reduce dark circles and puffiness.
The formula of the ingredients is really interesting.
Of course we find the much talked about vitamin C, in the form Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C). The saline form, compared to simple ascorbic acid, is more stable and does not oxidize on contact with air. So this ingredient is actually appreciable compared to the “classic” ascorbic acid.
I remember that vitamin C is an excellent antioxidant, perfect against free radicals. It is used both to protect from UV rays and to stop the formation of dark spots, as it blocks the biochemical reactions that make the complexion uneven, leaving the skin more radiant and uniform.
This is one of the few products that works to smooth out wrinkles around the eyes (like crow’s feet) and to reduce under eye bags, puffiness and dark circles.
The other noteworthy ingredients in this wrinkle cream are numerous.
Glycerin, Argan Kernel Oil, Avocado Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, Shea Butter, Barley Seed Extract.
I could summarize it all by saying that they are both excellent antioxidants and deep moisturizers.
In particular, vegetable Glycerin and Argan oil are excellent moisturizers.
Argan oil boasts elasticizing properties, thanks above all to the polyphenols contained in it which stimulate the formation of collagen, a protein that helps prevent the appearance of wrinkles, relaxing the skin.
Avocado is also an interesting addition. It is rich in vitamins, mainly vitamin E, minerals and omega 3, fundamental ingredients for the hydration and elasticity of the skin. That’s why its pulp is perfect for creating antiaging nourishing packs.
Finally, Shea Butter is rich in vitamins, fatty acids, and minerals making it suitable for deeply nourishing and hydrating the skin. It also manages to protect the skin against ultraviolet rays by reducing the aging of the skin caused by the sun.
Finally, we note the presence of caffeine, which the manufacturer highlights for being the main weapon against dark circles.
The truth lies somewhere in between.
Caffeine has the ability to stimulate the drainage of liquids, which is why it is particularly suitable for the treatment of swollen eyes (which therefore present liquids) and less of dry dark circles. There is no doubt that it could be an effective ingredient to help reduce eye puffiness, but the results will depend on the type of skin and the type of dark circles.
INGREDIENTS
Aqua (Water), Cetearyl Alcohol, Ceteareth-20, Isopropyl Myristate, Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate, Glycerin, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Argania Spinosa (Argan) Kernel Oil, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Oenothera biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Sodium Hyaluronate, Trehalose, Hordeum Vulgare (Barley) Seed Extract, Pentylene Glycol, Beta-Glucan, Euphrasia Officinalis (Eyebright) Extract, Cyclopentasiloxane, Cyclotetrasiloxane, Dimethiconol, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, D-Panthenol (Vitamin B), Xanthan Gum, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C), Caffeine, Phenoxyethanol, Potassium Sorbate, 1, 2-Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, DMDM Hydantoin
Perfect for
An antiaging wrinkle cream for eyes able to act on both wrinkles and dark circles.
The mix of ingredients is excellent, mainly natural and rich in antioxidants.
In the end, it works well. Smooths out lines and hydrates around the eyes. It also helps with puffiness, but it must be said that caffeine alone is not an active ingredient sufficient to completely fade bags and dark circles. The results, in this sense, will vary greatly from person to person.

Best anti aging wrinkle serum
8. Asterwood – Matrixyl 3000 Argireline
Asterwood Naturals is a US based company specialized in peptide-based, vitamins and hyaluronic acid serum.
The one I choose is one of the anti-wrinkle serums that I consider most valid ever.
This because of the excellent ingredients it combines: Peptides, Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid and Argireline.
I won’t go into the properties of Vitamin C and hyaluronic acid, which we have already seen. They act, respectively, as an antioxidant and deep moisturizer.
But what about the complex “Matrixyl 3000”?
This complex is essentially based on a strong moisturizer, glycerin, and on two anti-aging peptides: Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, Palmitoyl Terapeptid-7.
Therefore, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 is believed to be able to stimulate collagen production in the skin, and more collagen means fewer wrinkles and younger looking skin.
In Matrixyl 3000, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 is coupled with Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 and the duo works in synergy to reduce wrinkles and give younger looking skin.
But in addition to this synergy of peptides, in the formula we find the famous Argireline.
Argireline or Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, is a peptide composed chemically, of about 6 amino acids, with an activity very similar to that of botulinum toxin.
Argireline (Acetyl Hexapeptide-8) is responsible for reducing the chemical transmitters responsible for muscle contractions.
If used for topical use, Argirelin allows to decrease the tonic contractions of the muscles of the face, generally responsible for the appearance of wrinkles. The peptide is mainly found in the form of a powder to be dissolved in the water.
For this reason, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 is used in anti-aging and firming cosmetics, given its potential for applying facial wrinkles and deeper lines.
INGREDIENTS
Distilled Water (Aqua), MATRIXYL 3000 (Glycerin, Water, Butylene Glycol, Carbomer, Polysorbate 20, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, Palmitoyl Terapeptid-7), ARGIRELINE peptide (Water, Potassium Sorbate, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Phenoxyethanol), Vitamin C (Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate), Organic Vegan Hyaluronic Acid (Sodium Hyaluronate), Contains less than 2% of Phenoxyethanol, Citric Acid, Benzoic Acid, Dehydroacetic Acid.
Perfect for:
The best anti-wrinkle serum I can recommend, for the quality of the ingredients.
Objectively rich in active ingredients capable of stimulating skin elasticity and smooth the wrinkles in a complete and effective way. It can also actually help to even out the skin tone fading dark spots. In my opinion suitable as a face serum to be used before a face cream.

Anti aging wrinkle cream: Coenzime Q10
7. DHC – Coenzyme Q10
DHC Care is a Japanese-born company that is establishing itself worldwide for the quality of its products.
The cream does not use many ingredients, but the few that are there characterize the cream as really effective.
Meanwhile, a high concentration of olea europaea, which guarantees a deep emollient capacity and characterizes the texture. The consistency is rich and creamy, but not greasy on the skin. It therefore adapts very well to both oily and dry skin.
This is one of the best anti aging wrinkle creams due to the presence of 2 essential ingredients. Arginine and Ubiquinone.
Arginine is one of the most metabolically versatile amino acids. Several human and in vitro studies have indicated that the anti-aging benefits of l-arginine show greater potential than many others pharmaceutical or nutraceutical agent ever previously discovered.
But the King of this wrinkle cream is coenzyme Q 10 (Ubiquinone).
This coenzyme is one of the most cited in all commercials, because it is supported by various scientific publications.
Synthesizing coenzyme Q10 is very expensive. A cream that claims to have coenzyme Q10 and then costs 5$, has concentrations so low that it is perfectly useless.
Coenzyme q10, or just q10 for short, is a naturally occurring molecule, found in large quantities in our mitochondria (the engine of our cells) that protects elastin and collagen.
It acts both by supporting the antioxidant defenses present in our body and by directly preventing and contrasting the action of free radicals. In this way, coenzyme Q10 protects skin cells – and in particular fibroblasts – from the damage of these dangerous chemical species.
Fibroblasts are the cells of the dermis (the intermediate layer of the skin) and play a fundamental role for our skin. In fact, their task is to synthesize collagen, elastic fibers and glycosaminoglycans which together make up the scaffolding that supports and supports the entire skin.
Finally, coenzyme Q10 also performs an antioxidant action which could be defined as “indirect”. This is because according to some studies, this molecule is able to regenerate vitamin E when it is in its oxidized form.
I can honestly say I saw visible improvements on many women in a few weeks with this cream. It may seem like it will be greasy on not absorb well for a few seconds, but just wait. It will absorb perfectly & leave a beautiful young skin surface.
INGREDIENTS
water/aqua/eau, butylene glycol, caprylic/capric triglyceride, hydrogenated palm oil, olea europaea (olive) fruit oil, stearic acid, pentylene glycol, glyceryl stearate SE, glyceryl stearate, batyl alcohol, ubiquinone, phenoxyethanol, arginine, behenyl alcohol, serine, dimethicone, tocotrienols, olea europaea (olive) leaf extract, elaeis guineensis (palm) oil
Perfect for
The direct application of coenzyme Q10 on the skin reduces the damage required by internal and external factors, increases the production of energy in the cells and stimulates antioxidant protection. It also limited oxidative damage controlled by UV rays.
A definitely very interesting and promising product, so if you are into anti-aging and like to experiment the power of Coenzime Q10, this is something for you. In any case, I would advice this anti wrinkle cream for skins over 40 years.

Best anti aging wrinkle cream for dry skin
6. Caudalie – Resveratrol Lift Cream
Although expensive, Caudalie products are among those that give the greatest guarantees of success ever.
Projected and made in France, Resveratrol Lift Face is an antiaging wrinkle cream that I personally love.
Firstly, because it works. The lifting capacity and the plumping effect are visible already after 2 weeks, but become evident after 30 days of applications (i.e. after cell replacement).
But the thing I appreciate most about this wrinkle cream (like almost all Caudalie products) is the HOW it achieves these results.
Coco-Caprylate, Caprylic Triglyceride, Octyldodecyl Myristate, Glycerin and Shea Butter Extract. These are the first 5 ingredients (!) (after water) and they are all famous emollients of completely natural origin.
Coco-caprylate is a skin-conditioning agent naturally derived from coconut oil to provide high hydration, superb spreadability and elegant softening effetct.
Caprylic Triglyceride, Octyldodecyl Myristate and Glycerin are 3 of the best known natural emollients known in the cosmetic field. Glycerin, in particular, is a natural, fatty substance that combats loss of elasticity, thinning, wrinkles and dryness of the skin.
High concentrations of fatty acids and vitamins make Shea Butter an ideal cosmetic ingredient for softening skin. Shea butter also has anti-inflammatory and healing properties. Shea butter acts quickly and naturally to repair skin marked by aging, thanks to its emollient and moisturizing properties.
What makes Shea Butter unique is the presence of unsaponifiable substances. This gives Shea Butter the ability to make the skin elastic and toned at the same time, also shielding it from external aggressions with a lipid film, without however occluding its pores.
And these are only the first 5 ingredients!
If we proceed with the reading, we find several other excellent active ingredients. Cetearyl Alcohol and Squalane, used as an emollient, Palmitic acid as moisture retainer, Tocopheryl Acetate as an antioxidant, Titanium Dioxide as UV Filter and Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid as deep moisturizer agent.
Finally, a note of merit and one of demerit.
1) Like all Caudalie products, we find Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, patended by caudalie. It is a natural extract with excellent antioxidant action, thanks to its natural content of polyphenols and tocopherols. In addition, it seems to be able to partially fade dark spots on the face. So it could be useful if we have some spots to make disappear!
2) This cream smells soo good. I actually find it wonderful, but at the same time it must be said that it uses limonene and coumarin, that may be allergens on very sensitive skins.

A natural-based wrinkle cream, full of deeply moisturizing ingredients. The rich texture (which is absorbed very quickly) makes it perfect for normal and dry skins. Furthermore, the presence of Vitis Vinifera makes this cream capable of partially fading dark spots, guaranteeing a brighter and more even tone. The quality INCI makes it an excellent anti-wrinkle face cream to be used from 35 years onwards. Famous in Europe, Caudalie remains a guarantee of quality.

5. Clarins – Restorative Night
Clarins Restorative is one of those high-end creams that is likely to become one of your favorites for years to come.
The price is certainly important, but the rich and dense texture allows to perfectly cover the whole face with a minimum amount of product. With a 50 ml jar you can easily exceed 4 months of use.
It’s a really effective anti-wrinkle cream, a bestseller in the European market, but also in the USA it is highly appreciated. I sincerely consider it an excellent product, apart from the fact that it has a somewhat intense fragrance. In general, I personally prefer unscented anti-wrinkle face creams.
The results as anti-aging are almost immediate: the skin appears firmer, smoother and brighter. Hydration and nourishment are also excellent.
It’s able to reconstitute and heal weakened skin due to hormonal changes, stress and environmental conditions.
INCI is really well done.
We find a good amount of plant extracts, but first of all stands out the highly concentrated shea butter. Shea butter has unique antioxidant properties, capable of protecting the skin from the action of free radicals. The antioxidant action is mainly due to the vitamin E content of shea butter, which also has vitamin A and vitamin D.
Moreover, excellent the quality of the emollients, most of which are from natural origins. Among all, the Olive Fruit Extract and Hydrogenated Coco-Glycerides stand out. In particular Cocoglycerides are a mixture of mono, of and triglycerides derived from coconut oil. We’ve all heard about the moisturizing benefits of coconut oil, and similarly, this emollient ingredient helps give your skin a soft, smooth appearance.
It’s difficult for me to unbalance on the active ingredients. The so called “Clarins plant complex” is under patent. Reading the INCI, I can suppose it is made up of Harungana extracts, Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract as well as Cistus Monspeliensis Extract, which are all gradual release moisturizers and antioxidants for the skin.
Personally, I reject the choice of putting a fragrance (albeit exquisite) among the top 20 substances present in the INCI. It is probably allergen-free (INCI does not specify it, but it is a very delicate cream, so it probably is), but is it essential to perfume an anti-wrinkle face cream?
In any case, Clarins anti wrinkle night cream remains one of the most popular creams in the world, both in the USA and in Europe. Voted one of the best antiaging wrinkle creams for skins over 40 and 50 years old. Without a doubt a product to try at least once in a lifetime.
INGREDIENTS
Aqua/Water/Eau, Cetearyl Isononanoate, Dimethicone, Glycerin, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Cetearyl Alcohol, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Hydrogenated Coco-Glycerides, Pentylene Glycol, Glyceryl Stearate, Peg-100 Stearate, Cetearyl Glucoside, Bisabolol, Phenoxyethanol, Parfum/Fragrance, Propylene Glycol, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Hexylresorcinol, Carbomer, Squalane, Polymethyl Methacrylate, Mica, Ci 77891/Titanium Dioxide, Tocopheryl Acetate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Hydroxide, Sorbic Acid, Xanthan Gum, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, O-Cymen-5-Ol, Butylene Glycol, Citric Acid, Disodium Edta, Polysorbate 60, Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract, Harungana Madagascariensis Extract, Sorbitan Isostearate, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Extract, Cistus Monspeliensis Extract, Acetyl Tetrapeptide-2, Dextran, Tocopherol [V2818a]
Perfect for
One of the best wrinkle wrinkle cream available on the market today. Strength is the extreme hydration, which is made from natural substances that are used by the cream as “sponges” with gradual release of water. I know women who have been in love with this cream for years, and have never gone back. In Europe it is very popular, but it is also catching on in Asia and the USA. In my opinion among the best ever in the world, especially for skins over 40 and 50 years old.

4. Elizabeth Arden – Retinol Ceramide Capsules
Elizabeth Arden’s ceramide serum is one of the most famous cosmetic products in the world. Bestseller in Europe, Asia and the United States.
Unlike most other creams, the packaging provides a protection of the active ingredients from the air to a higher level: each dosage is enclosed in a soft capsule, so that contact with the air of the active ingredients occurs only at time of actual use.
The capsule contains several ingredients of the highest level, including ceramides, various antioxidants and plant complexes useful for stimulating cell regeneration. As we shall see later, there is also a good amount of retinol.
This type of anti-wrinkle serum works deeply in the epidermis, really stimulating the skin to regenerate and renew itself. It must be said, however, that it is a product that has tried to limit the number of ingredients, probably to make it suitable even for the most sensitive skins (and indeed it is).
This means that the results will not be immediate, because it is a formulation specially created to work over time (to see results we will have to wait for 2 to 4 weeks).
You will immediately get great hydration and a better overall appearance of the skin. The anti-wrinkle effect is visible over time, because it is not a lifting cream with immediate effect.
Sealed for freshness and potency, this formula provides visible results while helping to protect against the dryness and irritation often associated with retinol.
In the package we tried, the capsules were 60. With a capsule, you cover the entire face generously … and I know that many of you (and us) will want to keep part of the serum inside the capsule for later use.
Naturally this will compromise part of the efficacy linked to the ingredients that do not oxidize, but if we really want to do it, just keep the capsule open for no more than 24 hours, and keep it in the fridge!
The strong part of INCI is the so-called Enhanced Ceramide Lipid Complex (ECLX), which is a combination of ceramides 1,3 and 6 that help to reconstruct the structure of the skin.
A great addition of the formula are fatty acids (linol and vitamin E), and lipids including phytosphingosine, another big help for the skin barrier. Borago oil is also an excellent component, rich in Omega 3, 6 and 9 and Vitamins A, B, D and E, with all the advantages associated with them.
Finally, in order not to miss anything, also the salt of Retinol is present, which as we know is a collagen production stimulator, with a consequent more compact and toned skin.
INCI
Dimethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane, Squalene, Cyclohexasiloxane, Isostearic Acid, Ceramide 1, Ceramide 6 Ii, Borago Officinalis Seed Oil, Linoleic Acid, Linolenic Acid, Retinyl Linoleate, Retinyl Palmitate, Tocopherol Phytosphingosine Oleic Acid Hexadecanolactone
Perfect for:
Not just a marketing gimmick, as you might think. The “disposable capsule” is the best option to preserve the properties of the ingredients. INCI is really well formulated, both to protect the skin and to stimulate the formation of new cells and collagen.
Results are visible in about 2 weeks, leaving skin smooth, radiant and actually plumping up some wrinkles. It’s probably the serum I’ll use when I’ll be a little older… and maybe I’ll have some extra money!

3. Filorga – Time Filler
Let’s move on to a premium-level cream known internationally.
For those not familiar, Filorga Paris is a brand born in 1978 specialized in therapies against cellular aging. Today it is an established reality all over the world, among the best known for medium-high range products with a high quality content.
The active moisturizing ingredient use Imperata cylindrica, a very interesting plant extract (a grass). It has excellent long-term moisturizing effects. Its moisturizing ability is due to the chemical composition of the rhizomes that contain natural osmoprotective compounds such as 3-dimethylsulfoniopropionate (DMSP), potassium, starches and sugars.
A 2% of Imperata Cylindrica is able to increase the skin’s hydration level by almost 45%.
The substantial difference between Time Filler and the Time Filler Mat is already understood from the name. The first is a nourishing anti-wrinkle cream suitable for combination skin, while the second is specific for oily skin.
The anti-aging active ingredients of note are the peptides present in INCI.
Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38 is an antiage with several in vitro studies behind it for its ability to redensify the dermis and smooth the skin.
Dipeptide diaminobutyroyl is a conditioning agent for the epidermis classified as a neuro-peptide and is believed to block the absorption of Na+ (sodium) by the body, which causes relaxation of the facial muscles. Result? Prevent the formation of expression lines.
INCI

An antiaging wrinkle cream that feels very nicely on the skin, rich but not oily, skin feels moisturized and breathable upon application.
Excellent moisturizing capacity, as well as antioxidant capacity derived from plant-origin extracts. Feeds skin nicely through the entire day, non greasy, absorbs well.
In my opinion, the anti-wrinkle effect due to the multiple peptides agents makes this cream great for any age.

2. StriVectin – SD Advanced Plus
StriVectin is one of the largest independent prestige skin care company, focusing on clinical anti-aging skin care. All products are made in the USA, but sold all over the world.
It is a truly superior wrinkle cream.
The formula is based on plant extracts, to ensure emollient / moisturizing / nourishing effect and peptides, to provide the long–term anti-wrinkle effect.
Among the plant extracts the two most present are Theobroma Grandiflorum Seed Butter and Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Extract.
Theobroma Grandiflorum Seed Butter is rich in fatty acids, including oleic acid (omega 9) and linoleic acid (omega 6). The first regulates the growth of tissues and has a very remarkable antioxidant action, the second is an excellent nourishing and moisturizing agent for dry skin. In addition, there are stearic and palmitic acids, which have a high antiaging action.
Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Extract is rich in oil and essential fatty acids, and is used in skincare for its skin soothing enzymes and antioxidant properties.
But what makes this product one of the best anti wrinkle cream overall is the incredible high concentrations of peptides.
Each peptide has a more or less specific function, but the most interesting is that of being messenger substances. In the event that a peptide is captured by a receptor placed on top of a fibroblast, it can stimulate and increase the production of proteins (collagen), thus improving the structure and appearance of the skin. And this is precisely one of the so-called anti-aging actions.
There is a famous study from 1998 that was done on people and compared vitamin C, tretinoin, and copper-tripeptide. Do you know which one won? Copper tripeptide. After one month, it increased collagen production in 70% of people, while vitamin C only in 50% and tretinoin only in 40%.
Well, in this cream the peptides are so numerous that I cannot describe them all in detail.
Palmitoyl tripeptide 38, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Hexapeptide-40 sh-Oligopeptide-1, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, Copper Tripeptide-1, just to name a few.
The overall effect is profoundly anti-wrinkle, especially suitable for skin that seeks an effect that lasts over time. From 40 years on, it is undoubtedly one of the most effective anti-aging creams in the world.

Perfect for
I am sincerely convinced that this is one of the most effective anti-wrinkle creams in the world.
It works two ways, reducing the look of wrinkles and visibly fading stretch marks. Plus it’s more hydrating for visibly plump, radiant skin.
We find Niacin / VitaminB3 to strengthen the moisture, vegetable oils and butters to guarantee an antioxidant effect, but above all lots of peptides able to actually stimulate the production of several important skin-identical ingredients (e.g. collagen, elastin, and glycosaminoglycans). A wrinkle cream capable of making the skin smooth and plumped as time passes.

Best Anti Wrinkle Cream
1. Sensai – Cellular Performance Emulsion III
Sensai is the Kanebo brand, the Japanese high-end cosmetics giant. It is a point of reference throughout the Asian market for “VIP” products in skincare industry.
The Lift Sensai Cellular Performance reshaping cream is an anti-aging cream suitable to create a lifting effect even on the deepest wrinkles.
It is the typical anti-wrinkle cream 50 years and maybe even better as an anti-wrinkle cream effective for 60 years or more. The moisturizing effect quite good, while the ability to plump and smooth fine lines is excellent. I would say that well simulates the ”tensor effect” of pharmacy fillers.
The ultrafine texture leave a silky effect on the skin, not greasy under any circumstances and excellent as base for makeup.
Because of the INCI, which we will see later, I interpret it as an excellent cream that focuses on lifting the skin. It is not a cream that I would use as protective or preventive.
It is, in fact, a cream with the specific objective of pulling the skin as far as possible where there are persistent wrinkles.
Sensai researchers have made no major problems in putting ingredients that are also synthetic in fair quantities.
The goal of this cream is undoubtedly a dramatic difference in the skin with a possible lifting effect. The skin appear smoother day after day.
The results come without too much thinking about avoiding synthetic or dehydrating ingredients. In fact, we find silicones (Cyclomethicone), petrolatums in high concentrations, as well as parabens, although in smaller concentrations.
In the same way the concentrations of vitamins (first of all the Niacinamide) and emollients are high.
The cream has, of course, a patent (Cellular Performance, Lifting Series) and therefore there are very few studies concerning many of the ingredients of the formula.
At a guess however the true active ingredients of the formulation must be the extracts of apricot, saccharomyces (a yeast of mushrooms), of Pyracantha crenatoserrata (a fruit) and of the various plants present as essential oils.
Even the fair concentration of Conchiolina is interesting, given that it is a peptide useful for stimulating collagen production.
In short, this cream is controversial from the point of view of INCI, as often happens in very (perhaps too much) elaborated creams. But unlike others, the lifting effect is indisputable.
Honestly, I do not like the INCI, but effectiveness is real. The choice is ours.
INCI

Perfect for:
An ultra-fine texture wrinkle cream of Premium quality. This is a cream specially developed to improve skin density and firmness, helping to visibly reduce wrinkle depth and smooth fine lines. We find silicones and parabens on a par with peptides and plant-origin antioxidants. In the end, skin appears visibly plump, smoother and younger looking, supporting natural collagen production.
An Asian product that has been successful all over the world. Not by chance.

The Best Ingredients in a Wrinkle Cream
There are some recurring ingredients in anti-wrinkle creams, with proven efficacy. Let’s find out which ones.
Retinol in anti wrinkle creams?
Retinol (ie the alcoholic form of vitamin A) has unique capacities, such as the induction of collagen and elastin synthesis, as well as an excellent antioxidant in safeguarding from the causes of photo-aging.
The induced collagen is actually the supporting structure that gives our skin a tonic and young appearance. When the levels remain abundant, our skin maintains the typical young and firm appearance. When the levels begin to decrease, we lose the rigid “structure” and the first wrinkles start to form.
If on one hand collagen injections actually serve to fill in the empty areas, and therefore to make a few lines disappear, several researchers have shown how the topical application of peptides or vitamins that can stimulate it can help effectively, partially filling some areas and stimulating the surrounding cells to form new collagen.
Therefore, among the many ingredients proposed by cosmetic companies, this is effective from a scientific point of view, as long as it is in high concentrations. We speak at least of a concentration of 1% by weight on the final formulation of an anti-wrinkle cream.
Botox in anti aging creams?
The latest generation wrinkle creams are often associated with the so-called “wrinkle relax” whose meaning is the relaxation of the tissues in which the first wrinkles are formed.
Specifically, when we talk about the “Botox effect” in the cosmetic field, we mostly talk about peptides with an anti-aging effect.
Peptides are micro-proteins, of natural or synthetic origin, involved in all of the
major biological functions, such as, for example, neurotransmission, the reaction to stress, activity cardiovascular or immune response. They have a great ability to influence cellular activity: these are molecules capable of sending signals to skin cells.
Among the multifunctional properties of the peptides, we find the ability to regulate cell activity and to penetrate deeply into the layers of the skin, to heal wounds and eliminate inflammation by stimulating a regeneration process thanks to their antioxidant power.
Each peptide has its own “mission” to accomplish, acting differently on our skin: it can be stimulating, remodeling, plumping, repairing, muscle relaxant, reinforcing, lightening, desensitizing, etc.
In particular, some of the most widely used peptides are palmitoyl pentapeptide and acetyl hexapeptide (also called Argireline). This particular combination of ingredients is also called the mix-Botox, because the result is comparable to small micro-injections of botox in the areas most affected by wrinkles.
Palmitoyl pentapeptide works alongside Argireline, which acts as a stimulant for the production of collagen, whose filling effect has been extensively studied and recognized.
The final result with latest-generation creams that use ingredients similar to those described above will have an important relaxing effect on the skin. There will certainly not be “forced” distension, like that obtained by resorting to surgery, but undoubtedly there will be a scientific basis for having concrete results.
Hyaluronic acid in anti wrinkle cream?
Hyaluronic acid is a filler with moisturizing properties that is used alternatively to collagen as an ingredient to restore volume to areas where there are wrinkles.
In good quantities, it can also naturally stimulate collagen production.
Is hyaluronic acid actually effective in creams as it is injected under the skin?
The answer, according to several studies, is: not directly. The main motivation is due to the fact that if the hyaluronic acid molecules are dispersed badly and agglomerated between them, they find it difficult to pass through the epidermis and go under the skin where it should perform its filling action.
However, this does not mean that it is not useful. On the contrary, different creams based on this substance have great effective benefits visible on the skin.
“Hyaluronic acid will only be absorbed when it has a low molecular weight: it is not enough that it is in large quantities in the cream, but it must be well dispersed in it”.
The explanation is that the hyaluronic acid spread on the epidermis will be absorbed only when at low molecular weight (and this characteristic is found only in some creams).
Being a substance already present and naturally produced in our epidermis it is not at all irritating, and rarely can cause irritation or allergies (unlike many other components found in other creams).
Therefore, hyaluronic acid is a unique moisturizer (holds over 1000 times its weight in water), it will not have the typical filling effect of an injection, but it remains one of the most precious ingredients that can be found in good quality anti-wrinkle face cream.
Obviously, the times for the first results to be visible will not be immediate, but range from 30 to 90 days.
