We are constantly looking for anti-aging treatment. But which is the best wrinkle filler?

It’s easy to say “I bought an anti-aging”. In addition to the “classic” antioxidant and plumping actions, a good wrinkle filler prevents the formation of wrinkles and help to smooth the ones already visible.

I also remember that a wrinkle filler is different from an anti aging wrinkle cream. The first tries to give an immediate lifting effect, while the second works on a long-term preventive antioxidant effect.

Of course, during the choice of a wrinkle filler attention must also be paid to other factors such as the texture, SPF presence, skin type, actual results and quality of ingredients used.

For this reason today we will see the best wrinkle fillers capable of giving effective results just in few week.

We will analyze, for each one, the most important features and the quality of the ingredients used.

Let’s begin!

Best Wrinkle Filler: Worldwide TOP 10

10. Pink Madison – Firming Lotion

wrinkle filler pinkmadisonPink Madison is a US formula that uses the combination of peptides and plant extracts to obtain an elasticizing effect on the skin of the neck and face.

I like it for the good value for money.

I find 2 ingredients in this formula particularly interesting.

The first is the “snake venom“, we found it in the INCI as Dipeptide Diaminobutyroyl Benzylamide Diacetate.

The effects of this peptide focuses on an immediate and lasting relaxation of mimic wrinkles. This skin conditioning agent is categorized as a neuro-peptide. In vitro the peptide cosmetic ingredient is considered as an antagonist at the muscular nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (mnAChR) and believed to block the body’s uptake of Na+. As the muscular nicotinic ACh receptors are reversibly blocked, the ion channel remains closed. There is no uptake of Na+ and the muscle cells stay relaxed.

Retinyl palmitate, as we find in the formula, and other vitamin A ingredients in cosmetics could contribute to vitamin A toxicity when combined with excessive exposure to the sun. Therefore in the case of sun exposure, I always raccomend to use a protective sunscreen. Especially with Retinol-based creams!

The other key ingredient in this formula si Macrocystis Pyrifera Extract. Little research exists specifically on Macrocystis Pyrifera Extract, although one study published in Cosmetics and Toiletries in 2001 did find that “An extract of the Macrocystis pyrifera seaweed showed the ability to inhibit the expression of metalloproteinases in a bicellular culture study. The result is that skins in tests showed a reduction in wrinkles, suggesting its use in formulations making an anti aging claim.

A good quantity of glycerin and sodium hyaluronate as excellent moisturizers and Retinyl Palmitate as antioxidant complete the formula. I did not appreciate the presence of iodopropynyl butylcarbamate instead. It is a preservative considered toxic and allergenic for humans if in aerosol form. In Canada it has been banned by household substances in products that can be aerosolized. They simply could have choose another one.

INCI

DI-water, Glycerine, Carbomer, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, Disodium EDTA, Dipeptide Diaminobutyroyl Benzylamide Diacetate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Retinol Palmitate, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Cholesterol, Ascorbic Acid, Macrocystis Pyrifera Extract, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, PVP, Polyacrylate-13, Polyisobutene, Polysorbate 20, Sodium Hyaluronate, Arginine, Potassium Hydroxide, Triethanolamine, CI 15985, CI 16255, CI 19140, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Sulfate.

Conclusions

An effective face and neck wrinkle filler. Excellent moisturizing power and good ability to smooth out neck and face wrinkles. On the other hand, it will not be able to lift deeper wrinkles. Some ingredients have not convinced me to the fullest, but overall a good value for money wrinkle filler.

9. Clarins – Super Restorative Eye Concentrate

wrinkle filler clarinsTotal Eye Concentrate is a luxury eye serum, one of the most used and known Eyes wrinkle fillers in Europe.

It is a serum specific for the eye area, designed to reduce wrinkles (specifically crow’s feet), but also able of treating Puffiness.

Ideal for women who wish to maintain total eye beauty while experiencing natural hormonal changes due to the aging process. The ingredients are targeted and useful for the anti-aging process and for reducing dark circles.

The presence of betaine in high concentration is interesting. Thanks to its solubility and the ability to make water molecules cohesive, it is an excellent ingredient with a moisturizing and humectant action.

Another excellent active ingredient is Theobroma Grandiflorum Seed Butter. Excellent emollient, it improves the natural hydration and elasticity of the skin, especially dry skin. Rich in Phytosterols, it gives exceptional softness to the skin, balancing the activity of the stratum corneum.

The anti-aging action is carried out by Acetyl Tetrapeptide-2, a four amino acid peptide that is claimed to mimic the youth hormone called thymopoietin. It works by compensating the loss of thymic factors that come with age and is thought to stimulate the skin immune defenses and to help the skin regenerate.

Among the plant extracts the most interesting are Albizia Julibrissin Bark Extract and Acacia Farnesiana Flower Wax which are excellent antioxidants, especially suitable for fighting free radicals.

This wrinkle filler for eyes has become famous for being particularly suitable in the fight against under eye bags and dark circles.

By narrowing blood vessels and calming skin, caffeine can temporarily reduce under-eye bags. Caffeine stimulates also blood flow and widens, or dilates, blood vessels. This increases blood flow, which can help the skin to naturally tighten and reduce dark circles.

One of the “secrets” of this wrinkle filler is undoubtedly the Paullinia Cupana Seed Extract, which we find in the formula. Paullinia Cupana Seed Extract is used in skin care and anti-aging products for its toning and astringent properties (it is also used as a treatment for cellulite). Paullinia Cupana Seed Extract contain high levels of theophylline and caffeine. As a vascoconstrictor, caffeine tends to reduce puffiness and create a smoothing effect. By constricting the blood vessels in the delicate eye area, caffeine can help temporarily reduce puffiness.

Overall, I can only truly appreciate the complexity of the formula. The INCI is made up of many plant extracts and there is no aggressive synthetic preservative.

A wrinkle filler particularly indicated if we have delicate skin.

INGREDIENTS

Aqua/Water/Eau, Glycerin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Cetearyl Alcohol, Betaine, Hydrogenated Coco-Glycerides, Pentylene Glycol, Panthenol, Glyceryl Stearate, Peg-100 Stearate, Theobroma Grandiflorum Seed Butter, Cetearyl Glucoside, Albizia Julibrissin Bark Extract, Acacia Farnesiana Flower Wax, Caffeine, Steareth-21, Dimethicone, Phenoxyethanol, Carbomer, Ethylhexylglycerin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Mica, Polymethyl Methacrylate, Disodium Edta, Escin, Parfum/Fragrance, Ci 77891/Titanium Dioxide, Butylene Glycol, Dimethiconol, Sodium Hydroxide, Alcohol, Harungana Madagascariensis Extract, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Extract, Paullinia Cupana Seed Extract, Sodium Benzoate, Acetyl Tetrapeptide-2, Dextran, [V2688a]

Conclusions

A cream that contrasts wrinkles throughout the eye area in an excellent way. In addition, it really helps reduce eye puffiness and partially diminishes eye bags. After a month of using it, I definitely saw the difference.
If we want to illuminate the whole eye area, and eliminate crow’s feet, it is probably one of the best wrinkle filler ever.

8. Mirenesse – Power Lift

wrinkle filler mirenesseMirenesse is an Australian beauty brand born in 1999. The founder, the pharmacist Irene Patsalides started “looking for beauty products that actually delivered on their promises.”

The brand selects only organic botanicals, combining them with ingredients capable of deliver real results. It is also known for the tansdermal delivery system TDDS. It is a specific formula that ensures ingredients to penetrate and target the skin.

As written in the package, this cream is made up of a Botanical Complex. The cream is vegan and in fact it is Paraben Free, Phthalates Free, Mineral Oil Free, Petrolatum Free, Gluten Free, Alcohol Free.

It’s the ideal wrinkle filler for those looking for a completely vegan product. Although it is not silicone free, as Dimethicone is part of the formula.

If on one hand the formula is very gentle on the skin, on the other it also has a lifting power limited to botanical ingredients.

The formula includes vegetable Glycerin, a humectant, capable of attracting the moisture of the skin and all that surrounds it (therefore also the humidity present in the air). This allows you to deeply moisturize skin, and at the same time to facilitate the absorption of any product in which it is contained, also increasing the solubility of its active principle.

The presence of Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil is interesting. This Oil contains high concentrations of palmitoleic acid, a powerful antioxidant, Vitamin E, but also oleic acid, omega 3 and various vitamins. Properties include contrasting oxidative stress, regenerating properties for the skin and excellent emollient and moisturizing capabilities. It is an ingredient even used to soften scars!

Salix Alba (willow) Bark Extract has been a natural substance used for millennia.

The ancient Greeks, but also the Egyptians and the American Indians used the extract of White Willow to have healthier and firmer skin.

The merit of this property for the skin goes to salicin, a compound that helps increase cell regeneration, alleviating the inflammations that cause skin aging. In addition, salicin can regulate collagen production and hydration if applied directly to the skin. The white willow bark extract also contains numerous antioxidants, which help contrast free radicals.

Finally, note the presence of Rosa Centifolia Flower Extract. It is an astringent substance, very suitable for oily skin. It has moisturizing and anti-inflammatory properties, but the lifting power is minimal.

INGREDIENTS

Aqua(Water), Squalane, Glycerine, Butylene Glycol, Capryl Methicone, Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil , Rosa Centifolia Flower Extract, Cetearyl Alcohol, Hyaluronic Acid, Natto Gum, Sucrose Stearate, Sucrose Distearate, Stearic Acid, Dimethicone, Panthenol, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Salix Alba(willow) Bark Extract, Hydrolyzed Elastin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Ethylhexylglycerin, Phenoxyethanol

Conclusions

Mirenesse Power Lift was born as a vegan product, which is the reason of plant and natural active ingredients presence. As a wrinkle filler it is good (also because the few silicones present guarantee a temporary filler effect). The long-term anti-aging properties, in my opinion, are fair enough: the ingredients used are strong antioxidants, anti free radicals and emollients, rather than anti-aging. In the end it a perfect wrinkle filler for still young skin, rather than real filler on more mature ones.

7. Asterwood Naturals – Hyaluronic Acid Serum

wrinkle filler asterwoodAsterwood is a well-established US cosmetics company that seeks to focus on formulations rich in plant-based ingredients.

The hyaluronic acid present in this serum is no exception, and in fact derives from organic vegetable agriculture which is a point in favor of the use of active ingredients from animal or synthetic origin.

As we’ve seen before, hyaluronic acid has the great advantage of stimulating the production of collagen under the skin, and therefore it is inevitable that good quality serums, such as this one, rely heavily on this component.

From experience, we can say that the INCI that makes up this serum is a clear vegetable mold, as well as claimed to be of biological origin.

Concentration of hyaluronic acid in the connective tissue of the skin gradually decreases as age progresses: for this reason, mature skin appears less elastic and hydrated than younger skin

The ingredients are very few (6 in all!), which implies that everything has been focused on the high concentrations of Hyaluronic Acid, simply adding preservatives to stabilize it over time.

Phenoxyethanol, Benzoic Acid, Dehydroacetic Acid are completely inert preservatives and do not participate in the anti-aging action.

By binding to many water molecules, hyaluronic acid (Sodium Hyaluronate) gives hydration, elasticity, and softness to the tissues, while protecting them from excessive stress.

The effect on the skin is deeply moisturizing, which over time also combines with a decent tightening effect.

The sensation when wearing it is extremely fresh, and being ultra-pure hyaluronic acid it lends itself perfectly to be a serum to be used both in the morning and in the evening without the danger of the slightest irritation or allergy.

INGREDIENTS

Distilled Water (Aqua), Organic Vegan Hyaluronic Acid (Sodium Hyaluronate), Phenoxyethanol, Benzoic Acid, Dehydroacetic Acid.

Conclusions

An ultra-pure serum of Hyaluronic acid that really helps to firm the skin. Very high quality standards and completely made in the United States. It is the choice that is recommended for those looking for a serum based on this precious component. Moreover, the skin tone actually looks brighter. Maybe it’s not a life-changer wrinkle filler, but considered the excellent value for money, (8 oz will last months!) I recommend as good lines filler for face, hands, and neck.

6. Dermalogica – Stress Positive Eye Lift

wrinkle-filler dermalogica stress eyeDermalogica is a brand that most of us already know. A USA leader in cosmetic field, whose products are sold all over the world.

Stress Positive Eye Lift is a vegan wrinkle filler that helps to reduce visible signs of aging.

The formula includes moisturizers and antioxidants of vegetable origin, making it an excellent choice if you are looking for a solution that lifts all the eye area.

Not only. The formula also includes active ingredients that help minimizes the appearance of puffiness and dark circles, increasing skin luminosity.

Let’s see the active ingredients specifically.

First of all, the presence of Niacinamide is an excellent starting point. Also called vitamin B3, it has been used for decades for skincare. Niacinamide has anti-wrinkle properties, reduces pigmentation by lightening skin spots, regulates the production of sebum, maintains the elasticity and hydration of the skin.

We also find sodium hyaluronate e Hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid. When we find Hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid we have to think of a very small hyaluronic acid molecule, presumably micronized in nanometric form.

Remember that hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate) can bind water molecules up to 1000 times its weight and this is why it is also considered one of the best cosmetic moisturizers ever.

This molecule is able to penetrate at least up to the dermo-epidermal junction and to help the skin in the manufacture of hyaluronic acid self-produced by our body, helping generate a smoothing effect.

Vetiveria Zizanoides Root Oil is an essential oil with properties that improve circulation throughout the lymphatic system. It is the essential ingredient in this formula that minimizes the appearance of puffiness and dark circles.

Lavandula Angustifolia and Salvia Sclarea are essential oils that guarantee soothing and anti-inflammatory properties on the skin. Excellent especially on delicate skin that tends to be easily irritated.

Among the negative aspects of the formula I was sorry not to find a peptide component, which I consider very important to ensure a long-term anti-wrinkle effect.

INGREDIENTS

Water/Aqua/Eau, Dimethicone, Pentylene Glycol, Sorbitol, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Saccharomyces Ferment Lysate Filtrate, Tephrosia Purpurea Seed Extract, Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate, Niacinamide, Diglucosyl Gallic Acid, Citrus Reticulata (Tangerine) Leaf Oil, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Maris Aqua, Propanediol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Vetiveria Zizanoides Root Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Rosa Damascena Flotheyr Oil, Salvia Sclarea (Clary) Oil, Hydrolyzed Algin, Aniba Rosaeodora (Rosewood) Wood Oil, Cananga Odorata Flotheyr Oil, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Methyl Lactate, PEG-100 Stearate, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Tocopherol, Sucrose, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Hydroxide, Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate, Aminomethyl Propanol, Xanthan Gum, Linalool, Geraniol, Phenoxyethanol.

Conclusions

A vegan lifting cream that really helps with puffiness and brightens the appearance of dark under-eye circles. In addition to this, the antioxidant component is really strong, and combined with hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid, it guarantees excellent lifting power.
A product of the highest level, that really will help to reduce the look of wrinkles on the eye area. Incredibly gentle, it is a great option for sensitive skin. For the ingredients used (vegetables and antioxidants) I recommend it as a wrinkle filler on skins under 50 years.

5. Caudalie – Resveratrol Lift Firming Serum

wrinkle filler caudalie liftCaudalie is a well-known French brand that is also having considerable success in the United States.

The Lift Firming Serum is a serum with a very strong plant footprint, which uses the exclusive active ingredients of Caudalie.

We find some “classic” ingredients, such as hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid and hyaluronic acid.

Hyaluronic acid is capable of retaining 1000 times its weight in water, releasing it continuously over time.

As we know, hyaluronic acid for cosmetic use is a very strong moisturizer. It is evident, in fact, how it has immediate and visible effects on the skin. It revitalizes the external surface layers of the skin, so that they appear and feel softer, smoother and hydrated. This instantly means the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Another interesting active ingredient is Acetyl Dipeptide-1 Cetyl Ester. It is a soothing dipeptide-based molecule (tyrosine + arginine) that acts as a messenger for skin cells.

Acetyl Dipeptide-1 appears to work by stimulating the release of nerve cells from the skin and triggers the synthesis of elastin. It also promotes a correct and functional architecture of the elastic fiber inducing the most important elements involved in the structure of the skin.

The most famous active ingredient of the formula, however, remains Palmitoyl Grapevine Shoot Extract. An ingredient that is exclusive to the French brand Caudalie (and patented). For this reason, there is not much independent information about it.

According to some studies, there seemed to be a synergy between Palmitoyl Grapevine and the hyaluronic acid complex. The combination could help support the skin’s production of natural hyaluronic acid.

In this last aspect, I can’t express a judgment, because I have not found independent scientific articles on the subject.

In any case, the serum is objectively excellent and recognized throughout Europe for its anti-wrinkle property and for its ability to reduce dark spots at the same time.

For those looking for an organic serum and a reasonable price, this is another interesting and excellent quality alternative.

INGREDIENTS

Water, Glycerin*, Butylene Glycol, Glyceryl Stearate Citrate*, Hexyldecanol*, Hexyldecyl Laurate*, Squalane*, Tocopheryl Acetate*, Polyglyceryl-3 Stearate*, Palmitoyl Grapevine Shoot Extract*, Hydrogenated Lecithin*, Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Parfum (Fragrance), Sorbitan Laurate*, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid , Hyaluronic Acid, Hydroxyethylcellulose*, Acetyl Dipeptide-1 Cetyl Ester, Sodium Phytate*, Tocopherol*, Linalool, Limonene, Coumarin, Butylphenyl Methylpropional. *Plant Origin.

Conclusions

An organic serum made in France of excellent quality. Studied in detail to ensure wrinkle filler properties, as well as moisturizing smoothing and plumping the skin. One of main ingredients, Palmitoyl Grapevine, is recognized as an active ingredient for fading brown spots. A serum that I find the ideal for all those looking for lifting serum with illuminating and anti-spot properties.

4. Shiseido – Benefiance Wrinkle Resist 24

wrinkle filler shiseido-24Let’s move on to a face product that is an emulsion, rather than a filler serum. Basically, the texture is not as liquid as a serum, nor as consistent as a cream.

Shiseido in this emulsion uses ingredients that serve to attack the free radicals formed during the natural process of skin aging. Especially in cases of exposure to UV rays.

UV rays attack healthy cells and create free radicals, and also stimulate an enzyme called Heparanase, which plays a significant role in accelerating the formation of wrinkles. It is well known how the sun creates irreversible skin damage, and this enzyme is a major player.

Shiseido scientists have identified three ingredients that help block that enzyme by inhibiting its oxidizing function. The INCI, among other things, is actually limited, with main ingredients such as Mukurossi extract, chlorella extract, and gambir extract, compounds that can precisely inhibit this harmful enzyme.

This product uses certainly new, useful ingredients in the panorama of anti-wrinkle serums, which is why it has achieved such great success internationally.

The consistency, although it is an emulsion, is delicate and with excellent absorption. This is why it is a serum that is excellent in half both as a good anti-wrinkle cream and as an excellent anti-aging moisturizing serum.

Above all, the results as wrinkle filler are really excellent. Not only does it show the ability to smooth out wrinkles in just over a month, but it manages to give the skin a much brighter tone.

Conclusions

A newly developed cream with specific ingredients for blocking some harmful enzymes in the skin. It is particularly suitable for those suffering from aging from exposure to the sun, given that the components it contains (including good concentrations of hyaluronic acid) are highly antioxidants and able to limit the aging process stimulated by exposure to UV rays.
An excellent middle ground in terms of texture, perfect for those who do not like the consistency of creams, nor too liquid serums.

3. NeoStrata – Skin Active Eye Therapy

wrinkle-filler neostrata eye-therapyNeoStrata Skin Active is an eye treatment made in the USA, aimed at minimizing wrinkles around the eyes.

As we will see shortly, it is a wrinkle filler made up of purely synthetic ingredients with a high lifting impact.

If we are looking for a natural product based on natural and organic extracts, just move to another product.

As we see from the ingredients, the formula contains a significant amount of silicones, including Dimethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane and Polysilicone-11 in high concentrations.

The fundamental characteristic of silicones is to make the textures of the products soft and silky and to give an immediately smoother and lifted appearance to the skin.

Claims that silicones in any form “suffocate” skin have not been substantiated in published research. In any case, if you have doubts, use the cream only in the areas where you want it to act, using it as a wrinkle filler.

Besides silicones, we find several other active ingredients of proven utility, for example, Tocopheryl (Vitamin E) Acetate as an antioxidant against free radicals and Sodium Hyaluronate as a moisturizer and plumping.

The most interesting of the formula, however, in my opinion are the peptides (palmitoyl oligopeptide / palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7, and Malus Domestica Fruit Cell Culture.

Early laboratory studies showed that palmitoyl oligopeptide can effectively stimulate fibroblast cells to produce collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. Collagen and elastin are structural components of the dermis, and hyaluronic acid can hold large amounts of water and help plump up skin.

Preparations containing palmitoyl oligopeptide and palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7, as in this case, produced a significant decrease in deep wrinkles and skin roughness and increased skin elasticity in less than 2 months.

As regards the Malus Domestica Fruit Cell Culture, clinical trials has shown significant potential to reduce wrinkles in the crow’s feet area of the face.

Some readers ask me about NeoGlucosamine patent.

I’m almost sure that NeoGlucosamine patent comes from the presence of Acetyl Glucosamine in the formula. Acetyl Glucosamine is an amino acid sugar precursor for the biosynthesis of superstar moisturizer, hyaluronic acid. It looks to help as wrinkle filler (2% improvement on wrinkles, particularly in the eye area) according to clinical studies.

Notes: Skin Active is particularly suitable for oily skin. Ammonium Polyacryloyldimethyl Taurate has the property of absorbs sebum or oil, giving the skin a matte appearance and possibly increasing moisture.

INGREDIENTS

Aqua (Water), Dimethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane, Polysilicone-11, Acetyl Glucosamine, Glycerin, Cyclohexasiloxane, Nylon-12, Silica, Octyldodecyl Stearate, Tocopheryl (Vitamin E) Acetate, Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Sodium Hyaluronate, Caffeine, Malus Domestica Fruit Cell Culture Extract, Butylene Glycol, Lecithin, Isohexadecane, PEG-10 Dimethicone, Caprylyl Glycol, Polysorbate 40, Sorbitan Isostearate, Polysorbate 60, Citric Acid, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Isostearic Acid, Ammonium Polyacryloyldimethyl Taurate, Xanthan Gum, Chlorphenesin, Phenoxyethanol, Caramel, CI 19140 (Yellow 5).

Conclusions

Objectively a high-level wrinkle cream made in the US, increasingly known all over the world. The formula is rich in active ingredients effective in the treatment of even very deep wrinkles. Thanks to the caffeine present it can also help in reducing puffiness and dark circles. Among the eye wrinkle fillers, one of the most complete and effective ever. Ideal for skin over 50 years.

2. Lancome Vissionnaire

anti aging serum For results, the best wrinkle filler for the 50s and above. Describing it with a sentence, I would say: “the best results, with the worst INCI”.

Let me explain. First of all, most of the ingredients are of synthetic origin. The active ingredients around which the formula revolves are sodium tetrahydrojasmonate and tetrahydrojasmonic acid, molecules studied and patented by Lancome laboratories and of which there is practically no scientific literature in this regard.

The rest are essentially silicones, but in substance, they manage to give the skin a true lifting effect, as similar as possible to the “botox effect”.

Honestly, if we are looking for a formulation whose ingredients are well known, as well as with a semblance of natural extraction, just stay away from this wrinkle filler.

However, and frankly, I don’t like to admit it, it is the topical filler on which I have personally seen (and seeing online worldwide, results confirm my impressions) that the effect is real.

It stretches the skin filling up lines within a few days, with results in the very short term. I recommend it just as a product for great occasions.

Do we have an event we want to be amazing? About a week before, just wear this cream every night. Even only in critical areas.

The day before let’s wear it morning and evening, and the same day as a base for make-up.

We’ll really be amazed.

INGREDIENTS

Aqua, Cyclohexasiloxane, Glycerin, Alcohol Denat, C12-15 alkyl benzoate, Dipropylene glycol, Pentaerythrityl tetraethylhexanoate, Polysilicone-11, Dimethicone, Bis-PEG/PPG-16/16 PEG/PPG-16/16 Dimethicone Polymethyl Methacrylate, CI 77891, Mica, Sodium Hyaluronate, Phenoxyethanol, Adenosine, Dimethiconol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Disodium EDTA, Citronellol, Inulin Lauryl Carbamate, Parfum, sodium tetrahydrojasmonate, ammonium polyacrldimethtyltauramide/ammonium polyacryloydimethyl taurate, hydoxyethylellulose, argilla/magnesium aluminium silicate, tetrahydrojasmonic acid, Citronellol, Inulin Lauryl Carbamate, Parfum/Fragrance.

Conclusions

This cream, I say it right away, has an INCI that I don’t like. “Secret” ingredients whose studies have not been published in scientific journals, and many synthetic additions, including countless silicones.
However, it is one of the most effective botox-like wrinkle filler I ever saw. And online reviews (worldwide) confirm it.
Let’s just use it for big occasions. A few days before an event, for example, as I explained earlier. It is the “chemical” product to be kept in the cabinet, to be used when we want to rejuvenate 15 years for a certain period, or also for just one night.
A top quality product, that will help to reduce the look of wrinkles effectively.

1. Sensai – Cellular Lift Remodelling Cream

wrinkle filler sensai-liftingOne of the best wrinkle filler creams in the world. Kanebo is a Japanese company based in Tokyo that for years has stood as a reference point among the luxury creams for VIPs and celebrities from all over the world.

The result of the most accurate pharmaceutical research of the Japanese laboratories, the well-known Kanebo cream, stands as capable of firming and spreading almost any type of wrinkle, even in old age. One of the main characteristics is the delicacy of the cream, capable of being absorbed by even the most sensitive of the skin, without any type of redness, not even the slightest.

In addition, the price can be deceiving: unlike other brands, all Kanebo formulations are well known for being deeply nutritious, and therefore 50 ml of cream will last 4 to 6 months with daily use. In fact, a veil will be enough every evening on the face, truly obtaining a much more relaxed skin already from the first month of use.

In confirmation of this, Kanebo has published several clinical trials – with 91% of testers claiming that their skin “looked tight and nourished” and 67% claiming they have experienced “wrinkle thinning never experienced before”.

Of course, I am aware that the manufacturers’ clinical trials are partially biased. However Shiseido carries out these trials through independent institutions before presenting the creams. In this way it has a counter-proof of the effectiveness of the product created before being put on the market.

The cream includes some silicones to allow an immediate plumping of the fine lines, since firsts applications.

The formula is covered by a patent, but includes several plant extracts with a strong antioxidant impact.

Interesting also the abundant use of apricot extract. Used topically, Apricot Kernel Carrier Oil moisturizes dry, sensitive skin really well and is capable of smooths out blemishes, wrinkles, fine lines, and other symptoms of maturing skin

Thanks to the special active ingredients that repair skin damage, starting from Cyclomethicone, up to Niacinamide, the Cellular Performance formulation (patented, indeed) stimulates skin renewal during the night, while exerting a moisturizing, smoothing and firming action.

In my opinion, Sensai results in a complete cream from all points of view. Capable of replenishing the fine lines, deeply moisturizing, but above all of working on wrinkles removal in the long term.

INGREDIENTS

Water, Glycerin, Cyclomethicone, Squalane, Butylene Glycol, Petrolatum, Peg-20, Behenyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate Se, Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Stearic Acid, Dimethicone, Sorbitan Isostearate, Cholesterol, Niacinamide, Fragrance (Parfum), Tocopheryl Nicotinate, Apricot (Prunus Armeniaca) Kernel Oil, Xanthan Gum, Methylserine, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Carbomer, Apricot (Prunus Armeniaca) Juice, Alcohol, Disodium Edta, Dimethoxy Di-P-Cresol, Hydrolyzed Slik, Saccharomyces Lysate Extract, Paracantha Fortuneana Fruit Extract, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Extract, Phellodendron Amureuse Extract, Hydrolyzed Conchiolin Protein, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben, Butylparaben, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Citronellol, Geraniol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde, Limonene, Linalool.

Conclusions

Sensai Cellular is a proven effective luxury cream. There are several testimonies according to which with continuous habit we can expect a more hydrated, flattened and uniform skin, which has impressed me too. The price is very high, and in fact it is used more by VIPs than “ordinary mortals” (like me). In any case, it remains a very nutritious and “powerful” wrinkle filler, perfect (for the lucky ones who can afford it) for skins from 40 years onwards.
