Not that the other eye creams in the ranking would not be suitable for men. As a matter of fact, quality active ingredients are great for any skin type!
However, men skin is slightly thicker than women’s skin, so I decided to add a slightly more “powerful” and specific cream for any men’s skin.
Brickell’s Restoring Eye Cream for wrinkle is a unique concentrate of moisturizers, nutrients, peptides and antioxidants as I have rarely seen. In my opinion one of the best eye cream for men due to the quality of the ingredients used.
Actually, there are so many ingredients that I don’t know where to begin!
Aloe, Sunflower Oil, Hyaluronic Acid (as third ingredient! This means a great boost on hydration), Cocoa Butter, Vitamin C, Jojoba Oil, Licorice, Raspberry Oil, Avocado extract and Blueberry Extract.

The EyeWake eye cream for wrinkles and puffiness looks more like a serum than an eye cream. In fact, it has a liquid gel consistency, that upon application immediately gives a fresh effect in the eye area.
In this case, we are talking about an eye contour gel that uses mostly natural ingredients, strongly oriented towards antioxidant effect and stimulation of the subcutaneous circulation.
In the INCI we find several interesting substances including Aloe Vera Leaf Juice (hydrating), Cucumber Extract (soothing and refreshing), Elderflower Extract (anti-inflammatory, skin soothing), and Rose Flower Extract (skin conditioning and natural fragrance).
Most of all, I appreciated the moisturizing effect in this anti aging eye cream.
Glycerin plumps skin (as it has the ability to hold moisture), while cucumber acts both on hydration (as a deep moisturizer) and antiaging, (contains vitamin K which is known to improve skin elasticity).
Even after many hours (even after 6-8 hours of application) the skin really feels moisturized and supple.
All in all, this anti aging eye cream it’s a simple, affordable product that uses natural extracts to soothe, and well hydrates all the sensitive eyes area.
Not bad also the effect on dark circles and puffiness, although, it won’t be able to completely fade any of the two.

Christina Moss Naturals eye cream is a product that I have known in the USA, as it is (sadly) not present in Europe.
It is a small family owned business, specialized in the creation of anti-aging cosmetics using exclusively natural ingredients.
I have tried almost all the products and I must say that I really like this brand. Especially if we are looking for “green” cosmetics, this could be an excellent choice.
The eye wrinkle cream is a completely organic product, which exploits the power of totally natural active ingredients to nourish and soothe the skin.
Let’s start with the moisturizing effect. It is really impressive and is supported by the presence of Aloe (first ingredient of the INCI!), Glycerin and sodium hyaluronate.
The fact that there is no water makes the cream very dense, with a rather rich texture. A few drops are enough to cover the whole eye area.
The part linked to the anti-aging effect derives from the use of plant antioxidants, such as vitamin C, Organic Almond Oil, Persian Silk extract and Vitis Vinifera Oil, among others.
Hyaluronic Acid is a molecule that can retains over 1,000 times its weight in water, making it the ultimate skin hydrator.
As we well know, vitamin C revitalizes and improves the elasticity of the skin, protects it from ultraviolet rays and counteracts the effects of toxic substances such as smoke and pollution. In addition, it prevents stains due to advancing age and lightens existing ones.
Another interesting plant extract is Vitis Vinifera, known as anti-inflammatory, ideal for the care of acne, oily and combination skin and used as powerful antioxidant and cell membrane-protective. (And, in fact, it is one of the best ingredients for an eye cream for sensitive skins),

NuOrganic’s age defying eye is an excellent natural eye serum for those looking for an affordable price product.
It is essentially a serum for the eye area rich in plant organic extracts, amino acids and active peptides.
Among the plant extracts, the high content of Jojoba Oil is very interesting. According to various studies, jojoba oil revitalizes, regenerates and soothes irritated skin, strengthens it and also manages to prevent wrinkles thanks to the antioxidant contribution. Its ease of absorption and its great ability to penetrate through the small pores of the epidermis, leaving it smooth and silky, gives jojoba oil an excellent moisturizing action.
I can’t mention all the plant extracts present, but what I can say is that the antioxidant power is truly impressive.
Also interesting is the fact that this eye serum is full of amino acids.
Amino acids are precursors in the formation of collagen and elastin, they are considered valid anti-aging agents. Overall, amino acids maintain hydration, firmness and elasticity, protecting the skin from oxidative stress and giving our skin a young and healthy appearance.
And last but not least to note the presence of peptides, of which the largest by concentration are Argireline and Matrixyl 3000.
Argireline is a well-known peptide, famous for the abilty of stimulating collagen production.
But what about Matrixyl 3000?
From what I understood studying about it, Matrixyl 3000 is a peptide containing two matrichins (palmitoyl tripeptide-1 and palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7) which act in synergy to repair skin damage caused by aging.
Matrichins are usually small peptides that are formed by proteolysis of proteins or glycoproteins, fibrillary. The matrichine exercise stimulatory effects and activate the neosynthesis of the macromolecules of the extra cellular matrix through the genes involved in the restructuring and repair of the skin.
These properties make Matrixyl 3000 a good addition in wrinkle prevention, but certainly does not too much for wrinkles in the short term.
As for Plant Stem Cells, I am still quite skeptical.
There is no evidence that they are suitable for fighting wrinkles. If anything, tests on real people (in-vivo) showed decreases in skin redness (13.4% compared to placebo) and enhances natural skin glow (+ 9.2%). (But nothing said about wrinkles).
All in all, at the price at which it is sold I consider this under eye cream for wrinkle a much better product than many other more expensive I tested. And most of all, good value for money.

Although little known, Microderm GLO is a USA company that produces excellent products with high nutritional value, using ingredients of natural origins.
It is a valuable natural eye cream for wrinkle that I met on a business trip in the US and that I really appreciated.
Let’s start with the ingredients, which are truly outstanding in this eye cream.
Methyl Gluceth-20, Glycerine USP, sodium hyaluronate and Aloe barbadensis are all ingredients of natural origin and deep moisturizing impact and are all present in high amounts (at the top of the INCI).
Note also the presence of peptides in high concentration, once again “high” in the INCI.
Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 and Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 are in the first 6 positions of the INCI and represent clear active ingredients in the fight against wrinkles.
Palmitoyl Oligopeptide is able to absorb deep into the skin and is meant to help synthesize the proteins and encourage your skin’s natural health. The structure of this chemical promotes the production of collagen, the natural protein that creates elasticity, and Hyaluronic Acid, which gives your skin the moisture it needs to remain supple.
Recent studies have proven that Palmitoyl Oligopeptide can boost collagen production by 350 percent and hyaluronic acid production by 146 percent.
In the same way, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 and Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 (Argireline) have both demonstrated significant anti-wrinkle activity decreasing visible skin wrinkles through a mechanism of action that stimulates the synthesis of the key skin matrix components (most of all collagen).

It is an eye cream that is used to temporarily remove lines and wrinkles. The effects usually last from 5 to 8 hours.
Argireline is considered an excellent cosmetic agent for the treatment of wrinkles and skin lines. It is an amino peptide responsible for relaxing the skin. Although named “Botox in a jar”, Argireliae (acetyl hexapeptide-3 or acetyl hexapeptide-8) is not a toxin like botox.
Argireline is known to give improvements in the appearance of wrinkles from 10 to 30% (where 100% is completely smooth skin). There are many certified data and it is no coincidence that it is a principle that we find in different formulas, (although I never saw such high concentrations).

Instead of an eye wrinkle cream, what we see now one of the best wrinkle treatments I know as today.
The Shiseido smoothing eye mask.
For the uninitiated, an eye contour mask is a device soaked in active ingredients that has to be left in contact with the skin for a certain period to perform its function.
It has the advantage that these masks are usually disposable, so the active ingredients are always “fresh” and can perform their function at the time of contact with the skin.
The Shiseido eye mask is a product that, by now, has become famous globally. Of all the masks I have seen or been able to try, it is the one that has by far shown me the best results.
Shiseido speaks of results from the first application.
Well, results are truly impressive. The eye-look appeared illuminated, and small wrinkles smoothed until they almost disappeared. The part around the eye appeared hydrated and bright.
Furthermore, it addresses the appearance of under-eye dark circles and puffiness to illuminate and awaken.
It is also interesting to read the ingredients.
In addition to retinol, the formula is very rich. We find a cocktail of plant extracts and anti-wrinkle agents, with a good percentage of hyaluronic acid and hydroxyproline to stimulate the production of collagen.
The “Pure retinol Micro” patent is a complex of retinol and vitamin extracts (Chlorella extract, Mukurossi extract and Gambir extract) which have an immediate smoothing effect and a strong antioxidant power.
The real downside is that this is a quite expensive treatment, because of the disposable sheets that cannot be reused.
Nevertheless, this is one of the few eye wrinkle treatments that can get an immediate effect on bags and dark circles as well as unequivocal lifting on wrinkles.
An effect that will last will last 10-14 hours, on average.
So, would I recommend this product as eye wrinkle treatment?

I managed to get my hands on the Shiseido Bio-Performance anti aging eye cream for the first time thanks to a colleague, very passionate about Asian products.
Shiseido, for the uninitiated, is one of the TOP Japanese brands, as well as a milestone of beauty worldwide.
The interesting thing about the Glow Revival Eye Treatment is that the applicator is based on the traditional Asian Kassa massage technique, so you can see an immediate effect when you apply it. The tone improves and the whole treated area becomes brighter (hence its name, “glow”).
The contribution of these effects derives mostly from the presence of Caffeine (which stimulates circulation), from paeonia extract (paeonia suffruticosa root extract) and from Crataegus Monogyna L flowers which has significant antioxidant properties.
This treatment is based on the principle linked to an increase in subcutaneous circulation. The formula is created to activate the capillaries around the eyes in order to strengthen them and stimulate the flow of oxygen around the surface of the skin.
Also, noteworthy, is the presence of Saccharomyces which in vitro has shown to have regenerative and protective properties of the tissues.
Finally, the excellent presences of hyaluronic acid and Vitamin C close, ensuring hydration of the skin for several hours.
These ingredients, I suppose with reasonable certainty, form what is the Shiseido patented system, called RenoCycle, which has the aim of promoting cell turnover (and consequently age repair properties) by improving the appearance of the skin structure.
The results of the cream are to be evaluated in 1 month (minimum) with daily application.
Personally, I can say that I have seen excellent results in the medium to long term, with a brighter and healthier aspect of the whole area including bags and dark circles.

Intensive Eye Concentrate is one of StriVectin’s bestsellers well known both in the USA and in Europe and objectively a product capable of giving excellent results.
In my experience, it works quite better as eye cream for wrinkles, than for under-eye circles and puffiness. In fact, it is the lifting effect that manages to make it a superior quality product.
As we can see from the INCI, we find many ingredients, many of which are not natural at all.
We find synthetic preservatives (such as chlorphenesin, BHTor tetrasodium edta) as well as high quantities of silicones (acrylic acid copolymer, dimethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane).
We also find high concentrations of propylene glycol, that despite being recognized as safe, may cause allergy to some of us.
This is to say that there are undoubtedly several non-natural ingredients. So, if we are looking for a natural eye cream, perhaps this eye wrinkle cream is not for you.
However, the properties are really interesting.
This eye wrinkle cream is a deep moisturizer thanks to high amounts of glycerin, capric triglyceride, and sodium hyaluronate.
As for the anti-aging effect, the ingredients are very numerous.
Malus Fruit Cell, Plankton, Nannochloropsis Oculata, Zingiber Root, Lepidium Sativum, just to list some of the natural extracts that bring a strong antioxidant power and anti-free radical effect.
These ingredients give a huge intake of vitamin B3, (which, added to myristyl nicotinate give the patented “NIA-114 complex”) and do all the fine lines under eyes fighting work in the long term.
But not only. We also find several peptides (Dipeptide-2, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Tetrapeptide-21) which guarantee a significant stimulation of fibroblasts in the production of new collagen.

Neostrata is a US based company, born in the 70s. Since then it has become one of the most popular cosmetic brands in the US market, especially for customers that aims more at results than appearances.
Let’s start with the ingredients. The main ones include caffeine, plant stem cells, hyaluronic acid and various vitamins from medicinal herb extracts. What catches the eye, however, is the presence of glucosamine in high concentration. It is the centerpiece of all Neostrata products.
NeoGlucosamine is a mixture of amino acids that stimulates cell turnover and appears to be able to firm the skin.

As US-based company, you probably know SkinCeuticals cosmetics.
A.G.E. Eye Complex is a lifting eye cream specifically designed to achieve immediate results, flattening fine lines and also working through “optical diffusers” that reduce the appearance of wrinkles and dark circles.
For this reason and many others, I consider it one of the best anti aging eye cream for 50s.
The formula is based on a high amount of glycerin to make the cream highly moisturizing and on flavonoids and peptides.
This anti-aging eye cream can get us visible results in just a few days. The INCI is partially compromised (given the widespread use of silicones), but in any case, it is a lifting eye cream that keeps its promises.
As reported by the manufacturer, we find flavonoids in the formula (due to the blueberry extract).
Flavonoids are among the most powerful antioxidants known in the vegetable kingdom. They carry out the action of scavengers of free radicals, but also protect against the damage of an excess of solar radiation in the UV-B spectrum.
This cream contains “optical diffusers”, which is ingredients capable of improving radiance and appearance of dark circles and small lines
In my opinion, however, the real added value lies in the use of peptides in the formula, which have real ability to “reconstruct” the cellular matrix giving excellent results in terms of smoothing out even deep wrinkles.
Palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 is a type of synthetic peptide capable of communicating with fibroplasts. In fact, it acts as a messenger for the skin stimulating the regeneration of collagen in the dermis and improving the epidermal barrier.
In the same way Palmitoyl oligopeptide can reduce wrinkles to a similar extent without the side effects of retinol. Against puffiness and dark circles I appreciate the presence of Dipeptide-2.
Dipeptide-2 inhibits the enzyme ACE that causes fluid retention and interferes with lymphatic drainage. Its structure resembles lipids found in the epidermis of the skin that help skin retain moisture. Dipeptide-2 is good for skin condition and can help treat dark circles or puffiness around the eyes.
As I mentioned earlier, this eye wrinkle cream is unbalanced towards the lifting power rather than the quality of the ingredients.
So we will find parabens, PEG, silicones and synthetic preservatives (such as chlorphenesin).
Let’s not be frightened. The cream is exceptional from the lifting point of view, but perhaps not suitable for those looking for a product as natural as possible.

The brand was started in 1976 by Hubert d’Ornano, in France. We could say that beauty was in the family DNA since his father was the cofounder of Lancome!
Today it is a cosmetic company that is having a global success thanks of the quality of its cutting-edge active ingredients.
Anyway, Sisley Anti-age Eye Contour Cream is a specific eye wrinkle cream designed to smooth out wrinkles both on the sides of the eyes and around the lips.
And to date, it is, in my opinion, probably the best eye cream for wrinkles for the effectiveness of the results.
So, let’s see the ingredients!
To be a high-end brand, it is much richer in plant extracts than the average. Impossible here for me to analyze them all.
We find shea butter (in very high concentration!), hyaluronic acid, and plant extracts that give a nutritious and antioxidant mix of vitamins B, C and E. But in addition to these, some ingredients are real “goodies” and I think they are the ones that has made the formulation so appreciated all over the world.
To start, Oat seed extract. Oat seed extract creates is known for creating a continuous, stretchy and flexible 3D mesh on the skin’s surface which, as it retracts, smoothes the skin, thereby giving an immediate lifting sensation.
The presence of Lindera extract is also interesting. This active, when used on topic emulsions, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, brightens and hydrates the skin for a more youthful appearance.
The presence of Soy peptide extract is also very interesting.
Soy peptides stimulate fibroblast proliferation and increase collagen and elastin synthesis. This results in firmer-looking skin. Soy Peptides are used to help prevent proteinase activity (as a result of exposure to UV light and ozone) from degrading collagen bundles in the skin. They can also help to lighten hyperpigmentation and act as an anti-irritant, reducing inflammation.
In addition to the strong lifting and anti-aging power, we find many ingredients useful to fight dark circles and puffiness.
We find Persian Acacia extract (against brown circles), Atlas Cedar extract (against blue circles), Caffeine (that reduces puffiness and dark circles) and Passion fruit extract (fights against puffiness).

To be honest, the brand is not so famous, but despite that, Cellap antiaging creams and phyto and cellular products always contain cutting-edge, highly technical formulations.
Cellcosmet Cellular Eye Contour Cream is, in my opinion, one of the best eye creams for wrinkle in the world.
This antiaging eye cream is particularly famous as a “technical” product, and is one of those creams that guarantee otherwise unexpected results.
I learned about this brand thanks to a collaboration with some Paris makeup artists. Since then, I have discovered that it is a well-known product among several European actresses.
But let’s start with the ingredient’s analysis.
Part of the ingredients are under patent, therefore it becomes very hard to do a complete analysis.
However according to the manufacturer’s analyzes, the eye contour has a revitalizing cellular component with about 11% active and stabilized bio-integral cells.
The active ingredients include Tocopheryl Acetate, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Fibronectin, and Glycosaminoglycans.
Tocopheryl Acetate and Ascorbyl Palmitate act as carriers of antioxidant vitamins. Respectively, they are Vitamins E and C antioxidant that bring to the formula a strong anti-free radicals effect.
Fibronectin (FN) mediates a wide variety of cellular interactions with the extracellular matrix (ECM) and plays important roles in cell adhesion, migration, growth and differentiation.
As is true for all proteins, regardless of their origin, it’s a good water-binding agent for skin.
Hydrolyzed Glycosaminoglycans are widely used in skin care products and cosmetics because of their ability to bind with water efficiently and increase depth hydration, improving the elasticity and firmness of the skin.
They are easily accepted into the skin because of their positive charge, and can moisturize the skin, as well as dramatically improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by minimizing the depth of wrinkles on skin. In the end are well known for maintaining skin’s firmness and elasticity, with high-repair effect too.
This eye contour cream is made for all skin types, but is not exclusively for the skin around the eyes, it can also be used on the skin around the lips as well.
The texture of this cream is truly exceptional. Made from fine, smooth, easily-absorbed, and non-greasy emulsion which makes it an excellent make-up base.
In conclusion, I do believe that this is one of the best eye creams for wrinkle currently on the market. It is a not too sponsored product, but it is a “technical” product, of which I have seen truly outstanding results.
